Sheffield United hosts Tottenham Hotspur at the Bramall Lane in a match from the last 38th round of the Premier League. For these two teams the season is going to end. But in what fashion? Let’s preview it in our Betting on goal scorers in soccer matches guide.

Sheffield United are saying goodbye to the Premier League on Sunday. The Blades had an awful season and they are finishing at 20th place in the standings. So far they have won just 16 points and that’s far from enough to survive in the elite division. Sheffield have won just three of their matches since the first day of the campaign.

In their last five games Sheffield United just gave up – they conceded five losses. Last weekend Chris Wilder’s team paid a visit to Everton, but conceded a 0-1 defeat against the Toffees.

Tottenham started the season pretty good, but with time their performances dropped. Now Spurs are 5th in the league with 63 points and that’s exactly where they will finish – they can’t move up or go down.

On Tuesday Spurs had the chance to stop Manchester City from topping the standings, but they conceded a 0-2 defeat at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The truth is Spurs had the chance to avoid the defeat, but Son Heung-Min missed a clear chance to equalise at the end of the game.

The manager Ange Postecoglou could try something different in the last game of the season. The Australian head coach could pick Dejan Kulusevski to start while Oliver Skipp and Giovani Lo Celso are also options for the line-up.

It’s not clear if Postecoglou is going to keep his position as a manager. His words after the defeat against Man City about the club’s foundations could cost him his job.

That’s the Betting on goal scorers in soccer matches guide for the Premier League fixture between Sheffield United and Tottenham Hotspur. Good luck!
